Today in class, we took a health risk survey.

M Bolotin presented Vitamin C a vitamin that strengthens blood vessels as well as collagen which is the main protein of connective tissue in animal and the most abundant protein in mammals making up 25% of our protein. vitamin c also helps prevent Gout a disease due to the build up of uric acid that are deposited on the articular cartilage. taking vitamin c with aspirin decreases its effectiveness. chilsory was also presented a plant that has vitamin a iron and potassium.

Today, we had a guest speaker. His name was Jim Carter. He came in to talk to us about organ and tissue donating.

Today we went to the computer lab and worked on catch up work. i set up my flickr and del.icio.us accounts and set the links up on my blog.

today Mr Cohoun showed us the juicer and made apple juice. i tryed the foam it was interesting. Sara Ebare presented vitamin c which helps the immune system. Beth Comtos presented niacin otherwise known as b3. pellagra is a vitamin deficiency disease.

josh presented his juice today. it was the brain stimulator it had pineapple, apple, pear, yams, and oranges.

today we did not have very many kids in class. so we went to the auditorium and played cards.
